A couple of weeks ago I was invited by
Cointreau to an after-work cocktail in order to see the new
Dita Von Teese make up collection. I attended the event without a second thought as I was really curious to see what Dita had come up with this time. After that amazing clothing line that she launched, my expectations were high. And I wasn't dissapointed.
For her make-up collection, the burlesque queen collaborated with
Artdeco and the outcome is 100% Dita but wearable and up-to-date at the same time. The products are perfect to create
Dita's statement retro look but at the same time they can be used for any make-up look that you have in mind (anyone trying dark eyes and red lipstick this Christmas?!)
The Dita Von Teese for Artdeco collection contains pretty much everything from
concealer and
powder to
eyeshadow,
blush and
nailpolish and it's the perfect gift for your retro - loving friends (or yourself!).
As for me? I'm probably very predictable but my favorite item from the Dita Von Teese collection is this
red lipstick...
...that you see me wearing in this picture:
If you want to try it, it's the 634 and for me this is the perfect red (not to mention that the application was super-easy and the color lasted for hours).
